Our Process


Step 1 Contact Us.

Our team understands the first step is overwhelming. We are here to guide you through any concerns and ensure your building journey is an enjoyable experience.

You can arrange a home visit by either calling, emailing, or completing the online form found on the ‘Contact us’ page.


Step 2 Home Visit.


Aaron will arrange a home visit to discuss your project and budget. It is important we get a clear vision of your home, and we understand how you envision your family living in your new space.


Step 3 Plans.


No plans? No problem!
Once we have conducted your home visit and discussed ideas, we will work with our architectural designer to develop your ideas into concept plans.


Have plans already?
You are one step ahead. NuChange Building are happy to work with your drafted plans.


Step 4 Check In.


Once the plans have been drafted, we will review the design with you to discuss any further details or concerns. We will also take this opportunity to ensure we are tracking on budget.


Step 5 Costings.


NuChange Building will disclose the inclusions of your project to ensure transparency. We are happy to accommodate any trades or materials you wish to supply, or we can provide you with a turnkey finish. We don’t believe in hidden costs, so we ensure we are upfront about all inclusions and added expenses.


Step 6 Selections.


When you choose NuChange Building you will be allocated a personal interior designer to help guide you through the selections process. Choose from our unique builder’s range of fixtures and fittings or we are happy to work with your chosen supplier. This is one of the most exciting parts of the journey!


Step 7 Fixed Price Contract.


Once you’re satisfied all requirements for your custom home have been met, the fixed price HIA contract will be prepared for signing along with a full set of working drawings.


Step 8 Finance Approval.


Depending on your situation, finance approval may be required. NuChange Building can support you through this process. We are happy to put you in contact with one of our trusted mortgage brokers or use your own.


Step 9 Development Approval.


A great advantage of working with NuChange Building; we handle all the necessary approvals from council. We will liaise with council on your behalf to obtain the Development Approval (DA).


Step 10 Building Approval.


NuChange Building will co-ordinate with the Engineer, Water Corporation, Energy Efficiency Certifier and Building Surveyor to ensure all relevant authorities have correct documentation. We will submit for the final stage of council approval. Leave the stressful process to us!
