Our story spans generations in Perth, Western Australia. Nevis Brooks,
NuChange Buildings’ founder has over 45 years of experience. As children, Nevis
and his brothers began by building and selling cubby houses to the neighbourhood.
In 1975 Nevis worked as an electrician, and completed certifications in truck driving,
scaffolding, bobcat, and crane driving. Nevis went on to start Brooks Construction
with his three brothers in 1979. During this time Nevis gained invaluable experience.
Fast forward to 2003 Nevis’ eldest child Ryan completed his apprenticeship in
carpentry and joinery. Ryan was the next generation of Brooks tradesmen and
NuChange Building was born.
In 2009, Nevis’ daughter, Renae, started working for NuChange Building, assisting
with office administration and accounts. It was at this stage that NuChange Building
outgrew its premises at the family home. In 2010 NuChange Building moved to its
new office in Greenwood and this remains our address.
Today, NuChange Building comprises of a hardworking, passionate, and dedicated
team of tradesmen and contractors all of whom have worked for Nevis for many
years.
The office team looks a little differently from the early days too. We have a friendly
Perth-based team who always aim to provide our clients with a positive experience
throughout their project.
Many things have changed throughout the NuChange Building journey, however, one
thing has remained constant: our belief in building quality homes with a personalized
experience. Every client that walks through our door deserves a home unlike the
rest, exclusively built to suit you and your family’s needs.
